During the pandemic in 2020, Amanda started making social media videos on TikTok. Amanda found a way to connect with the world through snippets of her childhood, telling stories that felt nostalgic yet fresh. With a strong belief that, the power of personal stories is able to bridge gaps between people from all walks of life. One of the most memorable and impactful figures from Amanda's childhood was Vicky (aka "Charlene"), a neighbor who lived in the trailer park where she grew up. "Charlene" was a woman full of contradictions. She worked as a lady of the night, but she had the biggest heart. Her zest for life was contagious, and no one who crossed her path could forget her energy. She loved to dance, party, and live life to its fullest, yet her kindness and compassion for others were what made everyone around her love her. "Charlene’s" legacy is a reminder that people are far more than their circumstances, and that every person has something beautiful to offer.

Trailer Park Dad: Henry

Henry, a hardworking father to six girls, passed away in 2019 from pulmonary fibrosis. Throughout his life, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family, raising them in a trailer park while always acting as a protector and a provider. Though he was strict and often opinionated, not hesitating to speak his mind even at the cost of hurting feelings, his love for his children was undeniable. His struggles with alcohol and other substances were significant, but Henry overcame them with determination, showing incredible strength. While Amanda and her father didn’t always see eye to eye, over time, they grew close and developed a deeper understanding of each other. Despite the rough edges, Henry’s legacy as a dedicated father and a man who fought his demons will always remain with those who loved him.
